Heroes Season 2 Spoiler #1
Our first spoiler comes compliments of E! Online, who are a regular source for great Heroes spoilers. It looks like our cute little time-traveling-sword-wielding-Sylar-stabbing superhero Hiro Nakamura, played by Masi Oka, is going to find himself a special love interest while traveling in feudal Japan. More specifically, it looks like Hiro is going to fall for a princess in distress and a few episodes will be dedicated to Hiro and his new love interest in the feudal Japan era!
Would Hiro dare to risk potentially throwing the earths entire time line into turmoil by trying to bring his new found love interest back to the present day? We already know Hiro has to return to present day at some point, so his trip back could potentially impact the entire storyline of Heroes season 2.
Though the casting of Hiro’s love interest has yet to be confirmed by NBC television, Heroes creator Tim Kring or anyone else from the Heroes crew, early rumors are pointing to Riyo Mori landing the role of a lifetime. Named sound familiar? That’s most likely because Riyo Mori is none other than the 2007 Miss Universe!
I’m still not quite sure who got the better deal here: Riyo for scoring a fantastic role on a hit TV show, or Masi for scoring an awesome love interest that he will no doubt be scoring with himself, all in the name of “plot development”, of course.

Francisco, who runs a Spanish Heroes blog, hipped me to these pictures over at JustJared that shows Claire and new boyfriend West (described as having a “cool power”) on the beach. Apparently West (played by Nick D’Agosto) is a very suave fella, because he’s already making out with Claire. I wonder if HRG is looming in the bushes somewhere waiting to cold cock West in the head with a chunk of driftwood. Check out some of the pictures of Claire and West at the beach below.

HEROES SEASON 2 SPOILER #3
The latest cast addition to Heroes Season 2 comes via the Hollywood Reporter, who reports that actress Jessica Collins has joined the growing cast of Heroes. She will play Sophie, described as “a mysterious woman with powers who works at the organization that is tracking all heroes.” Hmm, I wonder if she used to work with HRG, and if so, what kind of history does she have with him? Or maybe she’s Thompson’s replacement?
Or, more importantly, does the fact that Tim Kring is introducing a new attractive female with powers, and who also works for The Company, mean that Missy Peregrym will definitely NOT return to Heroes?
(The wrong Jessica Collins was posted earlier. This is the correct one.)
Here’s more about Jessica Collins from Wikipedia:
Jessica Collins (born March 8, 1983[verification needed]) is an American actress, who played the role social worker Lizzie Miller on the ABC’s The Nine.
Collins was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 2005, she graduated from Julliard.
Collins attended Tom C. Clark High School, graduating in 2001.

TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello has some interesting news regarding Ali Larter’s Niki/Jessica Sanders character, and it comes from Larter herself. According to Ausiello: “We’ll be seeing less of Ali Larter this fall as Niki takes off early in the season to, as Larter herself teases, “fix something. And once it’s fixed, it will be very shocking and exciting.””
Hmm, what could this mean? There are two trains of thought:
1) Tim Kring wants less Niki to concentrate on the new and existing characters; or,
2) Ali Larter’s fame has shot up since Heroes, and she has other projects, like movies, in waiting. Less time on Heroes (re: less storylines) means more time to pursue feature film work.
I tend to believe that it’s the latter. Ali Larter is a major draw for the show, so I don’t believe Kring is cutting down her storylines for any other reason except Ali has projects she wants to pursue outside of Heroes, like her upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction movie.
We’ll have to wait and see…

HEROES SEASON 2 SPOILER #5
Here is some fresh news and rumors about NBC Heroes’ Season Two. They come mostly from this morning’s on-the-set press conference, sponsored by the TCA. Masi Oka was the tour guide.
• Nathan and Peter are alive. Or better say “not dead?”. Isaac is dead but we’ll see more paintings of the future during season two.
• The series will take a four weeks break at Christmas, and another -similar- break in Spring.
• Hector Luis Bustamante (of ‘Hostage’ fame) has signed for a guest starring role that may turn into recurring
• Lyndsy Fonseca is off the show . Fonseca’s “gay cheerleader” role had to be cut after Fonseca landed a series regular part on Desperate Housewives.
• Ali’s character, Niki, will move away from the split-personality gig.
• The entire cast was present at the TCA press event on the set but Leonard Roberts (D.L. )Note this is the second Heroes’ press conference in a row without Roberts. Rumor, still going strong, is we won’t see D.L. during season 2.
• Dania Ramirez revealed that her character, Maya “..speaks Spanish, is in Central America and she’s running from the cops…”. Press notes describe Maya as “a young woman plagued by a threatening ability that has driven both her and her twin brother Alejandro (Shalim Ortiz) from their home in the Dominican Republic to make the dangerous crossing to the United States in search of help.”
• Zachary Quinto, asked about his role on the upcoming Star Trek movie said “Everybody else seems to have more to say about it than I do”…”I’m under strict orders not to say anything ” But the usually well informed insiders insist he got the part, and Tim Kring said “we’re in negotiations about that now” [he’ll work Quinto’s shooting schedule to not interfere with Star Trek’s]
• Haiti, Egypt, Mexico, Ireland, Ukraine, Japan and -obviously- the US are among this season’s destinations.
• Ubisoft is finishing a deal with NBC Universal to produce a “Heroes” videogame. Official announcement might come as early as this weekend at the SDCC

HEROES SEASON 2 SPOILER #6
James Kyson Lee (Ando) will become a regular for Heroes Season 2. While his role in the upcoming season has been debated due to the fact that Hiro transported him back to Japan in the Season 1 finale, the actors has confirmed that he will return.
James Kyson Lee's Ando Masahashi becomes "a full-fledged regular" on "Heroes" in the new season, the actor is glad to report. As far as he is concerned, Ando, who started off as the rather reckless and feckless pal of Hiro (Masi Oka) on the NBC hit, "has gone through one of the biggest growth transformations of all the characters. He started off thinking Hiro was living in a fantasyland, but slowly became a believer. Now he's started spearheading some of their actions. He's an important part of this mission, even though he doesn't have powers right now. That's something people can latch onto -- the idea of facing danger knowing you're mortal and don't have super abilities. Ando plays the perspective of an audience member, and asks a lot of the questions viewers would ask."
The Seoul-born, Bronx-bred Lee says that as far as socializing with the rest of the "Heroes" cast, "We try to when we have time, but there's not a lot of time. We work at such a frenetic pace. One week I had to shoot four different scenes with four different directors. It was insane."

HEROES SEASON 2 SPOILER #7
TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello has just broken what amounts to amazing news in regards to casting for “Heroes”. According to his Ask Ausiello column, Ausiello says that Christopher Eccleston, who was Doctor Who in the British series’ latest incarnation but left after the first year, will be joining the cast of “Heroes”! Here’s what Ausiello said:
Fanboys, prepare to piddle yourself. Christopher Eccleston the original Dr. Who from the current Sci Fi/BBC series is joining the cast in January in a really super (tee-hee) role. Speaking of cool casting, wait until you see who’s ******* ****’s ****. You’re going to flip.
Of course the asterisk isn’t my doing, but Ausiello’s way of teasing the audience. Just who will Eccleston be playing? Sylar, perhaps? Naaaaaaaah. (Or maybe…)
Here are some photos of Christopher Eccleston:
